Lawful basis for using information
Under GDPR, the lawful basis depends on why the information is being used.
- Enquiries and quotes: we use your details to respond to your request and to take steps before entering into a service contract.
- Agreed work: we use the information needed to perform the agreed service.
- Business records: we may keep records where needed for accounting, tax, legal or dispute-handling obligations.
- Website security: we may use technical information for legitimate business interests, including fraud prevention, abuse prevention and website security.
- Optional marketing or non-essential tracking: consent would be used where consent is required. The local project audit did not find active Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, embedded video tracking, external form-service tracking, Cloudflare Web Analytics or Cloudflare RUM scripts in the website source.
Consent is not treated as the legal basis for every enquiry. When you ask for a quote or book work, we need enough information to answer you and assess the requested service.
Third-party services
The website and enquiry process use some third-party services.
- WhatsApp / Meta: WhatsApp links and the quote form can send enquiry details to WhatsApp if you choose to send the message.
- Cloudflare: Cloudflare is used for DNS, CDN and website delivery, website security, and network-level traffic and performance information. Cloudflare may process technical request information, IP addresses and security events. Cloudflare Real User Monitoring is currently configured to exclude visitors connecting from the EU, where supported by the selected Cloudflare setting.
- Google Fonts: the site loads fonts from Google Fonts.
- Google Maps: the contact page includes a Google Maps embed and a Google Maps link.
- Google Reviews: the homepage includes public review text and links to the Google review page.
No separate public form-processing provider or public customer database was found in the website source at the time of this policy.
International transfers
Some third-party providers, including WhatsApp / Meta, Google and Cloudflare, may process information on servers outside Ireland or the European Economic Area. Where these providers process personal data, their own transfer safeguards and privacy terms may apply.

ECU files may be retained longer only for active support, warranty or dispute purposes. They are securely deleted when no longer required.
