Hardcut and popcorn limiter mapping can change the way a vehicle behaves at high RPM or on overrun, creating a sharper limiter effect or exhaust sound on suitable vehicles. This service is available only on selected vehicles after checking ECU type, software support and engine condition.
Not every vehicle is suitable. Compatibility depends on ECU type, engine setup, fuel system, exhaust setup, gearbox, clutch condition and existing faults.

What is a hardcut limiter?
A hardcut limiter creates a sharper RPM limit instead of a soft factory-style limiter. It is usually requested for modified or enthusiast vehicles where the customer wants a more aggressive limiter behaviour.
Overrun sound
What is a popcorn limiter?
A popcorn limiter, sometimes called overrun crackle or burble mapping, changes fuelling and ignition/torque behaviour on overrun to create exhaust sound effects on suitable vehicles. Results vary depending on engine type, exhaust setup and software support.

This service is not suitable for every vehicle. It may increase stress on engine, turbo, exhaust, clutch and drivetrain components if used incorrectly. The vehicle must be mechanically healthy before any performance or limiter changes are carried out.
